The cicuit is open every weekend plus public holidays.
$20.00 Ride all day.
$250.00 Season ticket.
The circuit is about 5 or 6 kilometers long. Mainly in the pine forest area, keeping it seperate from the rest of the farm. Clay tracks,
slippery when wet. Pretty much a long central ridge with the track
climbing up and then back down to the flats, some quite steep bits. Very little track is actually on the flat. Lotsa corners. No jumps built in as yet, but there are a few places where you can lift off.
I think the track is actually more challenging than I had expected it
to be. I am not a bike rider myself. I just enjoyed putting it in and
thought there would be quite a bit of interest in riding it. It is all
tractor country, and I thought if a tractor could do it, a bike would do it with ease. But some riders say it is too hard. Others say it
is great. If you like speed, stick to the open road. If you
want to improve your riding skill, try this circuit.
A new bit has been added. It is at northern end, the tricky bit that the Enduro crowd liked. No quads on that part.
The main idea is to be open at any time. Probably a good idea to ring first. It is not an easy circuit, although the really tough parts will have an optional ride around.

I answered this one before with a tongue in cheek comment of 'And do quads really count as dirt bike??'
It was a lot more accurate than I thought at the time. Have had a few quads on the circuit and while they can do it OK all they really want is speed. Flat, fast and boring. So, the circuit is not really quad friendly. Far too many interesting bits, although I think the trail bikes go way to fast on it. :)
Just a follow up on that. The circuit was used recently by the Hukerenui bike club as part of their circuit. On a wet day. I was watching one of the steep sections, riders having big problems with it. Quads coming back down again, sliding sideways. Great spectator stuff. Anyway, I went over and showed them the escape track so they could just go around it. The first ones I talked to said "No way, this is great fun. We will get up there." And they did.
