Critiquing Workshops:

These can be organised at any time, during the week or weekend. The number of days needed would depend on the stage and type of manuscript. My rate is $35 an hour for the critiquing and this is charged for the actual time I spend working on the draft and with the writer; not for the time the writer spends here. I have found that this works best as it leaves the writer free to do another draft in their own time then get more feedback.

For short stories or articles I'm happy to work with up to five writers as a group and facilitate group critique (where all participants discuss each others work -; what they like and what is not clear -; as well as having my input). My fee would then be shared between the writers.

Full accommodation is $120 for the first night including dinner and breakfast, then $80 a night from then on including lunches as well.

Student accommodation (were you bring your own sleeping bag and towel, but all meals are provided) is $60 a night.

Writers coming just for the day can bring their own lunches and I'll provide tea, coffee or fruit juices.

Because these workshops have to be organised around my own schedule please contact me at least two weeks before you wish to come.
